Mid-Life Mommy

There isn’t anything unusual about being a midlife mommy, except that I’m 48 years old with a three-and-a-half year old daughter. You do the math.

As it turns out, I’m not alone in this older mommy thing. Not by a long shot. Most of us worked hard to be moms at this stage - through adoption or extra medical procedures. And we love it. I’ll be sharing the zaniness of maintaining a semblance of a career from home, (yea right!), while my three-going-on-fifteen year old daughter alternates between “Help me, Mommy, Help me!” to “Let go, Mommy, Let go.”

Those of you with children know what I mean.

I will be following your blog. I am interesting in subject as I write for baby boomers. Lot of my friends and relatives are new moms later in life.
