Being Martha - NOT!

Loretta over on Just Not Martha left me a comment the other day. I knew Loretta from her other site, but anyone who has blog all about not being perfect made me curious, so I went to visit and just I suspected, I love her attitude.

Gah! Mess everywhere all the time, I swear it makes itself! We’ve only lived here a month and I thought the first few weeks cleaning would be easy…new place not much to clean, don’t even have all the boxes unpacked. Yeah right, was I ever wrong, wrong, wrong. There’s just as much mess as usual, dishes to do, floors to scrub, litter box to empty. Then there’s new kinds of mess……

Sounds like my house. I’m totally not like Martha. I love pretty things, and a clean house - don’t we all, but my car looks like a trash can most of the time. Whats up with that? I know better, would like better, but for most of the moms I know that’s life.

Mess everywhere, wanting better, living and loving life regardless.

At least I’m not obsessed about my sock drawer.

    ROFL ~ don’t even get me started on the van mess and the gum stuck to the seat, and the movie theater soda cups! Fortunately I don’t drive and I don’t have to look at it all that often. ;)

    sometimes it’s just good to know that you’re not alone and there are other messy places in the world too!

    Oh, I don’t even want to take stock on the car mess. My children love to take their shoes and socks off in the car. I think their sock drawer is the car! Thanks for sharing. It is nice to know that it’s not just us.

    Loretta, I wish I could figure out how not to drive. But I live miles and miles away from anything except the bears!..
